Is there any way it can be set up that:
1. The program starts up in the "Classic" mode all the time?
2. Starts without to Start page?

please use the command WorkSpace then choose the desired workspace "CMS IntelliCAD Classic".
or on the status bar, click Switch Between Workspaces (), then choose the desired workspace too. 2. Starts without to Start page:
- use the system variable "STARTMODE" to control the display of the Start page.
0 = Closes the Start page. The next time you launch IntelliCAD it doesn't display at startup.
1 = Opens the Start page. The next time you launch IntelliCAD it displays at startup.

The suggested solutions did not work.
1. I know how to call up the Classic mode once the start is completed. What I want is to have the program start up in the classic mode each time without any additional commands required.
The STARTMODE 1 or 0 brought up a blank screen. What I wanted is a normal start without the black start screen when it first starts up.
Please advise how to accomplish these changes.

Which version are you running?

To turn off the 'start page' tick the box in the lower left quadrant. Icad should now start like this:

I too prefer the clasic view.
Open a new drawing and load ALL of the toolbars etc that you plan to use.
Locate them as you please.
Now save the workspace, name appropriately: This is my setup for 2D general draughting, there is also a 3D variant aswell.
Exit Icad with your chosen workspace setup as the active setup. Icad should save both the startup page turned off & in the workspace last active.

Warning:
The System variable PRESERVEDEMPTYWORKSPACE must be < OFF > ou < 0 > to save the workspace when IntelliCAD is shutdown.
