When plotting, how can I get a layer or a color to "screen", reduce darkness of lines, as is available in Autocad?

One way to do this is to use a gray shade.
Such as colors 250 to 254.

It's not really the same. AutoCAD's named plot styles are able to screen the colors for individual objects and layers, so that a color can be plotted in various shades in the same drawing. This also effectively gives a possibility of 100 tones for each color, or 25600 colors in all. This is very useful for rendering of 2D drawings.
IntelliCAD should implement this feature as soon as possible
