Civilworks

Has anyone used the Civilworks software available for free from AtlasCad?? See http://www.atlasystems.com/civilworks.htm
I've downloaded it but haven't been able to make it work.
In the other hand, it looks great. What most interest me is to be able to make terrain models and curve level drawings, with 3d point information.
I think everybody might give it a try
