I am an experienced autoCAd user and have recently obtained ICAD 2000 for use at home (so far I like it).

I am having problem with entity snaps; they are not working. I have set the snaps I want in 'drawing settings/coordinate inputs', and I have the snaps indicator displayed on the crosshair, but the entity snaps (end, mid, center, etc.) are not being identified. The snaps work if I type them in at each prompt, but I don't want to work this way.

Am I missing a setting wich will enable the entity snaps to work automatically?

No you are not missing anything. This is a bug that crept in between releases and as far as I know the ITC reckon it will be fixed in the nnext release which is due this month some time.
