Do you already have a date to release the IntelliCAD 2001?

Will it have a release number?

There are still a few bugs, especially with the osnaps, that we are trying to fix before releasing. We prefer to not release a product before we are satisfied with the product. The bugs can cause system crashes and the osnap problems can cause loss of drawing time. We hope to have something for next week when the program is more stable. I apologize for the wait as I know everyone is dying to try it out. There are many great improvements that I know everyone looks forward to.

Regarding the osnaps, please take a special look into the blocks and xrefs snapping. Entities snaps don't seem to work with them.

I also suggest you to try to streamline IntelliCAD's code. It is very demanding, especially on the video.

Please check the new release with foreign fonts (ocidental, at least). International markets are very atracted to IntelliCAD because AutoCAD has an astronomical price in them.

I have had no problem with snapping to an entity in a block or xref. I did however only try a block that was 1 deep and will have to go back and try something nested deeper. This may have something to do with the way the new osnaps are being used. Please see my post on 2001 bugs.

Thank you for bringing forward the other issues. I will pass these on to see if there is anything that may be done.

Well, I guess I mixed things up a little. The problems with esnaps are present in the other ICAD publisher.

By the way, any ideas when we'll get our on the new CMS ICAD?

Just made a phone call and was asked to pass the information on that the 2001 version will be up in 2 to 3 days. They are in the process of changing the web site as I write and will have everything in place soon. (Which is why some places you may see 2001 and other places on the site still say 2000.) I will post as soon as I am given the go-ahead.
