I was just working with paperspace, to print a drawing with a title block (first time), is there an easy way to enter text? all the parameters of over kill IMO, I just want to write a line of text, in a given font and size. Thats all

Use multiline text. Set your font and size there. It's just as easy to set a style in Explorer. Name, height and font are all you have to put in. One more item than you would if you set it in the multiline text box. The program is set up for people that do this all day, every day and have to maintain standards. It would be a serious waste of time to set these things up each time one went to type something. That's the reason for styles.

Thanks CW, I just get flusterated (yes flusterated, a cross between frustrated and flustered)any way I will try your suggestion, and let you how it turns out. The problwm for me is all the other stuff available format wise.
