in the OPTIONS dialogue box of intellicad, i changed the hatch patterns path/location to where the hatch patterns of autocad is located...when i typed bhatch, clicked pattern and changed hatched file ICAD.PAT to ACAD.PAT, why is it that the pattern names are present but the hatch drawings boxes are blank or empty? will someone out there help me fix this problem? all my drawings in autocad have hatches and i need it to incorporate it with intellicad hatch patterns....thank's

I do know that Icad uses a lot of .SLD files to preview different patterns, and I also know Icad can use patterns meant for Acad, but they may not necessarily preview. I haven't had any trouble sending drawings to Acad people and them reading hatch patterns, nor reading theirs. But then I only use "mainstream" patterns. I reckon it's only worth using fonts, hatch patterns etc which are virtually common to more than any one program.
