I am using the "HPDesignjet 650C (C2859B) by HP" driver to create my plt files that I send to the print shop.
When I click print, I am asked for the name of the file only, not the folder where it should go. Is there a way to change this, in order to allow me to choose the folder?
Thanks

Asiebert,
Maybe I don't understand your problem, however, it seems to me that it is just a matter of specifying the folder. For example, if you called your file "job2" and wanted it to plot to your C drive in a folder named "projects", you would type C:\projects\job2 Let me know how you make out. Carl

I think you may want to include the file extension on the plot file such as C:\projects\job2.plt One more thing, if you wanted to plot to the C drive in the "projects" folder in the "2005" subfolder in the "plot file" folder you would type C:\projects\2005\plot file\job2.plt

Thanks, typing the complete path and file name, with the plt extension, works ok. The problem is if you want the plt to go to, for example, C:\work files\client 1\building A\final project\CAD\plot files ... then you would have to type a lot, would be better to have a "browse" button to be able to choose the folder. Anyway, for now I think I will send all my plts to C:\plts (a short path), and later move them to the project folder, after sending them to the print shop.
Thanks again.
