I am evaluating Intellicad to replace AutoCAD LT 2005. I have a version 5.0 from one vendor and the version 5.1 from CMS.
Version 5.0 opens all my test files fine but 5.1 does not display all the views on one drawing. That same drawing when saved and reopend will crash Intellicad 5.1 but saves and opens fine in 5.0.
Drawing has been Audited and Purged in AutoCAD.
ANyone else have these issues?

I have some problems with certain AutoCAD v2000 files in CMS IntelliCAD 5.1.5. In some cases the files open, and the document is empty, or IntelliCAD freezes up. Opening the same files in CMS IntelliCAD 4.1 works fine. If I explode the blocks in 4.1, and resave the file, I am usually able to open the file in 5.1. However, some of the files with the exploded blocks that open in 5.1 will not save or export from 5.1.
I am working with ACIS objects, so I suspect the version of ACIS may have changed from 4.1 to 5.1.???

I am not sure what ACIS is.
My drawing has only paper space with drawing border - model space with a bunch of tables imported from Excel and pasted in as AutoCAD entities.
I tried converting the file to 2000 and R14 format and exploding everything.

Len,
ACIS is the solid modeling component, so this is not related to your problem. My knowledge of IntelliCAD and ACAD is limited, so, if you've exploded everything and saved as earlier versions and still are not having any success, hopefully a more experienced user will be able to give you some assistance.
