problem printing icad4 drgs in acad2005

g'day all,
I have a big problem with icad cms 4 drgs printing from acad 2005.
1. the capital 'E's' all print out as capital 'B's'
and
2.all the pen style parameters for pen thickness disappear and everything prints as one thickness. go figure.
I have found if I wblock out the drg from ICAD and then bring it back into ACAD it fixes it !
Doing the same thing from ACAD doesn't fix it.
Any clues. I have written a routine to do multiple drgs but this is a risk to file handling many drgs over servers and local disk and would like to see another solution.
This is a big stuff up on my part, although it is only a problem with acad2005 and not with acad2002. I guess I can't second guess what will happen in the future with ACAD versions and the reaction with ICAD drgs down the track. I wish ACAD would disappear altogether. 2005 is a bucket of S**t in my opinion. I only do 2D electrical drgs.
