I am experiencing frequent crashes when autosave runs in Icad 5 - like every 3 or 4 times it runs. I have no other apps running other than firewall, anti virus and anti spyware, lots of memory - 1.2 gigs. and a recently re -installed version of XP with all patches and SP2 installed. RIght now I's manually saving every 2 minutes or so, but that's hardly a solution.

I have had more trouble with the constantly-checking feature of anti virus programs than everything else on the computer put together. It can usually be turned off then scan "manually" when you want. Tried about 4 top name programs before I realised that was the problem. You only need it when you are on the net and then only if you download stuff without first knowing what it is.
