Dimensioning issues

I have noticed a peculiar problem with vertical dimensions in ICAD using ticks instead of arrows. When a file is saved and reopened later, the direction of the right tick gets mirrorred. this can only then be rectified by editing the dimension and regenerating (even this does not work all the time). Is there any work around to this?

try this. edit your dim setting. go to lines. set a value to "extend past obliques". say 1/16".

I tried this solution but it still does not work. Incidentally this problem occurs mainly with continued dimensions. Also, we work with metric dimensions here.

Not sure what could cause that but dimcontinued dimensions often don't appear as they really are (mainly smaller dims) until dimstyle-apply is performed on them. Arrows should remain the same but text position often moves.
I reckon in all cad programs its best to use as many dim defaults as possible.
