You didn't give us much to work with. What is the error? Has the software previously worked on that machine? Anything else on that machine causing problems.

I recently had a hard drive go bad in my old PC...The long and short of that is I had to go purchase a new PC. I then had to re-install CMS IntelliCAD 4PE+...Everything seems to have installed Okay, but more often than not the program will crash. When it does crash, it wants to send a report to MicroSoft...

I have: (better set-up than before)
Emachine
Pentium 4 - 2.60 GHz Processer
512 MB RAM
XP Service Pack 1

Thank you,

Could just be Icad is the most demanding program on the machine and finds the weakness. I have had trouble with every new computer - CD drive on the same channel as the HD, memory timing set too fast in bios, bad model, windoze video acceleration (the current machine only really stable with basic accel.).
At the first trouble in a new machine I now try setting performance controls to fairly basic levels in windows, and have a look in the bios for basic speed settings.
Oh the very first thing is turn off the antivirus running check feature - that's been the absolute worst culprit with various av software.
