I can't figure out what the difference between an ellipse and a circle is. A circle can convert to a polyline and can have thickness but an ellipse can't. All other primitives I've tried work OK but not the ellipse. I found this out by trying to convert a cam shape into 3D.

What's the story?

mcarolan, under drawing settings, entity creation, find ellipse in pull-down list, there is an option for ellipses as polylines. I think this is what you need.

That's right, but it won't change the ones you have already drawn. They have to be drawn as polylines originally to behave as polylines.
