Hey, just in case you want to fix this problem with IntelliCAD 14.0, this is what is happening:
if you set users1 variable to "500" and set the modemacro like this:
(setvar "modemacro" (strcat "Current value:" " $(getvar, users1)" ) )

Will work perfect till you switch to the start page. When you return from the start page to the drawing, the setting of modemacro change to a wrong value. modemacro setting suppose to preserve the macro through all the pages
