I have been happily running IntelliCAD 11 PE easy run on a Windows 10 PC for many years. I have a new Windows 11 PC with higher performance.

First, I installed IntelliCAD 13.1 PE easy run on the new PC. It was so unusably slow that I cleared it from the cache and installed 13.0. It too is much slower than 11 but is at least usable. Has anyone else encountered these performance issues?

Second, IntelliCAD 11 PE easy run can be run by double-clicking a desktop icon, and the dwg file type was associated with it so it can also be run by double-clicking on any dwg file. It appears that 13 can only be run by logging into run.intellicadms.com, which is very inconvenient. Is there a way to install a desktop icon and associate dwg files with IntelliCAD 13 PE easy run?

Force Windows updates and reboot the machine. New machines usually miss the latest Windows updates.
Use GRAPHICSCONFIG to switch the graphics engine to Intermediate or Advanced and double check the performance.
