VBA Loadlinetype

#1
Trying to load a new line type to active document with the following:

IntelliCAD.ActiveDocument.Linetypes.Load "HIDDEN", "icad.lin"

Tried various permutations of the above but get the following error:
"Method 'Load' of object "IIcadLinetypes' failed"

Other line types fail as well.

Using Intellicad version 12.1 PE+ on a windows 11 machine.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Update........
Works with full path to "icad.lin" file in user directory. Will not work without full path even though file path is in search directory. How to make this work without full path?

To address this, ensure that when you use the Load method, you provide the complete file path to "icad.lin". For example:
IntelliCAD.ActiveDocument.Linetypes.Load "HIDDEN", "C:\full\path\to\icad.lin"
This works because IntelliCAD needs the explicit path to locate and load the file correctly, even if it’s in a directory listed in your search pathsplanet clicker
