Creating a door block with resizing. In properties/ overrides, angle offset has no effect on the stretch parameter.

I have the same problem and I have updated to the Build no. 12.1.243.153262 (dated: March 29 2024).

Does anyone else as the problem or we are the only ones?

Best regards,

I think I will start to list the bug I found with the advanced block.

1- The Overide-Angle property of the Stretch action doesn't works
2- You cannot add a Parameter (ex: Distance) as an Object for Chain Actions. The objet just doesn't add to the Action.

(I will update the list on the go when finding new bugs)

Sooo, it's been a while, but I didn't forgot to update the list!
It's just there was not other issues I run into or have been solve since the first release of Advanced block in V12.1.

So, here's an update with V13.1 PE Plus that go out on the 14 of january 2025.

1- The Overide-Angle property of the Stretch action works!.....kinda... It's work on the second try...
To reproduce the problem, you need to create a really simple open door. The door (at 90 degree from the opening, because it's open) is link with the action "stretch" to the "linear parameter" which is the opening of the door (one grip). The stretch frame includes only the tip of the door. The door/rectangle is the only entity specify. After, select the "stretch" action and open its property panel. In the "Overrides" sub group, change "Angle offfset" to 90.
Save and then place the door at 0,0. Now, increase the opening (moving the slider to the right). The tip of the door will slide to the right (not what we want). Now the fun part begin. Now, increase/decrease the door opening and now the tip of the door is moving up/down (which is what I'm looking for on the first change of the opening!).
I can try to make a video if request.

2-The chain actions: I need to try it again.

3- (NEW) We cannot save a Advanced block as an advanced block. Only save it as a normal block. I have no clue how I can save it and use it in another drawing.

Great news everyone! (if anyone is reading!)

The Overide-Angle property of the Stretch action works like a charm!
(just don't forget to put the right angle: if the door opening is half open and is facing right, put 45 degree and facing left put 135 degree)

I test it with the maintenance update of version 13.1 out on 22th january (13.1.462.161266.PE+.VC17.x64.CMS131)

Thank you CMS for finally solving this issue! I can finally make my overcomplex advanced door block.

Hmmm... I'm still having the same problem. Stretch is unaffected by the angle offset. v13.1
