IntelliCAD 12.1 is a major release that includes performance improvements and new features, including the focal point of the release: advanced blocks. Advanced blocks can be created and edited using parameters, actions, and visibility states. They are similar to dynamic blocks in Autodesk® AutoCAD®

We now provide IntelliCAD Advanced Block features, but they're NOT compatible with other CAD Dynamic Blocks, and vice-versa.

I'm really excited by the advanced block feature! The Guide as been updated with the new feature in the table of content, but not how to use it... I will have to guess how to use it.

We'll post a tutorial video as soon as possible.

Please tell me where I can watchcoreball the video tutorial?

Just double checked and the list is of basic drawing functions.
I assume that the Advanced Blocks will be in the intermediate or more likely Advanced sections.
Both empty ATM.

I tried to watch videos from the "Course" section, but I get a "Sorry Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here."

Am I the only one getting this problem?

For understanding how Advanced block work, I looked online for similar product (ex: Dynamic block).

Note: this seem to have a problem with the propertie "Override - Angle" of the Strech Action.

I have access to all video from basic 1 and intermediate!

EDIT: The course doesn't work on Edge. It works on Chrome. I don't know for other Browser.

EDIT2: The sound and the video are not synchronize properly. The comment of the teacher is off by 12 seconds after the action is done. Not nice and hard to follow.

EDIT3: For the Advanced block, the video are limited. It is a really small intro to what is advanced block. For example, it cover how to make a door, but only one action is shown: how to flip. I would expect (from an advanced block) to be able to resize, rotate, aligned, etc!

Oh, I just saw that the intermediate course is for sell for 30 USD$.
For the quality of the course, I wouldn't spend a penny on it!

Don't get me wrong, I am really happy that CMS created those course; I wish I had access to those when I started.
If I would be CMS, I would turn it more as a marketing tools, like "Hey get our software, we have great courses comming with the software to make sure you can use all the potential of the software rapidly!".
