Changing Dictionary

The only option available for English is English (US). I want to change to English (UK).
I have saved a UK dictionary in the file path with the other dictionaries using the .dic file format. However, the program does not pick this up as an option to allow me to change. The only available options are those languages that came with the full installation.
Any idea how I can add another dictionary to the system?

Hi adam,
Sorry, no magic bullet. I have gone through the process of downloading a en_uk.dic then copying to the directory but like you Icad ignores it!!
Have you submitted a feedback form for this isuue?

Thanks for the prompt response. There are a couple of other functionality issues I am experiencing so will send in a feedback report, see if we can get this looked at.

Just recieved this:
Hi Steve,
To add a new dictionary to the list you have to load 2 files:
en_GB.dic
en_GB.aff
Best regards,

Morning Steve,
Thanks for the response. I put these two files in and the system does recognise them in the drop down box which is good.
Though it comes up with an error in the events log if I try to change the dictionary. Tried changing to a different language that came with the package, initially it shows that the dictionary was changed, but does not maintain the change. When closing out of the spell check it reverts back to US dictionary.
Is the another way to change the dictionary, or only via the spell checker?

Hi Adam,
System variable DCTMAIN is where the default dictionary is stored.
However any change I make to this is NOT saved
I have asked support if this is intensional or a bug?

Just recieved an email that the 'ticket' has been closed
So I would expect this to be sorted in the next built update.

No. Just PE edition. Did not need the additional 3D aspects of plus.
