Hello there!
I've just installed ICAD on WinXP, and it runs great if I logon as Administrator. However, if I logon as any other user, the program does not start (no error messages, no process in task manager).
I have a network with a domain, and I really need to get it to work with every user account on the domain.
The only user account in wich the program runs is the local Administrator, it doesn't even start if I logon as the Domain Admin...
Thanks in advance.

When installing Intellicad, does an option to install for all users or something similar not appear?
This is actually an XP/NT thing and not an Intellicad fault. XP/NT will only allow users with admin rights or the administrator to install programs.
Try reinstalling it again. See if that option appears.

I also get the same problem in Win 2K Pro as well as win98_SE.
The problem is not of rights, as even users with administrator priviledges are not able to run the application.
Win98 does not have an issue as all users get the same privileges. I am told CADIAN has provided a patch to its users that overcomes this issue. Is such a solution expected from CMS also?

Ok guys. I already encounter this type of problem. I 'am using a Domain type of network too and i have some Win 2000 prof workstation. That is an IntelliCAD problem not Win NT or Xp coz when i use Intellicad BricsCAD all the user account from my active directory works. This is the best way to work IntelliCAD for One User only.
For Win2000 and Win Xp
1. Create a One user from an active directory
Example: Username "Intellicad" and the password is cms. (Note: this is Domain)
2. make it a member of domain admin or administrator.
3. after that install the intellicad to the created username which is IntelliCAD.
4. after installing it. remove Intellicad as a menber of administrator from the active directory. make it as a ordinary user from the PDC.
5. Share The account: username "Intellicad" and Password "cms" you created to all user using intellicad.
