Hi ,
With reference to 10.1 PE plus edition , the selection window color can be set via TOOLS -- OPTION -- DISPLAY -- COLOR SCHEME ....
I've a model background black , I'd like to see just the selection window frame so i set window area color black and windows frame for example red or something else , but it doesn't work properly .... the selection window area becames white .
In paper mode (white color) , the selection window area becames black ...
I found nothing else to be changed i.e transparency , variables , ecc ....
I appreciate your help ...

I actually upgraded to that version yesterday!
These are the dialogs in question:
The first is for Model space and the second Paper space
Image
.

In the model space box there are the 4 options for the selection window,
frame colour for both a normal selection window and a crossing selection window
and the same for the internal area of the selection windows.

However these do not appear in the paper space dialog.
I fear I have just confirmed your own findings :(
Unfortunately I can find no way of achieving what you require!

I confirm ! .... It's a little bit strange because with a previous version I could have black background and black selection area .... anyway a partial solution is to set an area color very close to black so I can't see the difference .... and set the paper color background black too ....
