When using SelectCrossingPolygon to select crossing dahed lines the function does not return any value.
When changing linetypes to continuous it returns results correctly.
Is there any way to select crossing lines that could be dashed ?
Does anyone knows ?

#2Hi
Try changing the value of the system variable "LtScale" down to a small enough number.
ex 0.001 and recover it once done.
Regards.

#3I did it, programmatically, but, because os size of drawing each time I change LTSCALE the regen operation takes too much time.
If I let this option to user the final DWG/PDF does not have correct appearence.
I would like to have it working without need this option, or other operations that could cause same selection.

#4Just a thought, but are all of the dashed lines on the same layer?
Could they be ? (you select and put them on a new layer)
Could you select objects 'bylayer' ?
Yes I know this is more work, but is it shorter than the regen time?

Re: SelectCrossingPolygon Dashed Lines
#5No problem about extra work. Nut the real problem is at that time to select lines is those by crossing. At this moment we don't know what lines it is.
It would be selected at this momento.
Don't if I made myself clear.

#6Hi,
I've gone back to the original post and tested, see video below.

It appears to work for me as expected.
Can you post a video showing what happens with you??
