Does the new version have the equivalent of object enablers for ADT and the like? If not, is there a way to find and access proxy objects in a drawing and explode them? I get a number of drawing from architects which have plumbing fixtures done in ADT. I need to be able to explode those entities to line work to be put on a background layer. No round-tripping required and any attributes, etc., can (will) be dumped.

Are the ADT objects visible in Intellicad?

I don't know. I only have old versions of Intellicad here, and none are loaded at the moment. I'm looking for a usable alternative to AutoCAD, but this is a make-or-break issue. My schedule is packed right now and I was hoping someone had tried this and could save me the time to download, install, and test.

It looks like the objects are visible and can be exploded. I bought a copy of version 4 to test this. All the arcs in the symbols I tried exploded the wrong way, which is a good indication. Wrong way: an oval toilet bowl made of several arc sections has the bulges on the arcs to the inside so that the exploded symbol looks more like a gear with teeth than an oval. Also, on filleted 90 degree corners the exploded symbol shows the 3/4 of the circle that is not part of the fillet. From my experience this is normal, even if it is wierd.
