Is there an alternative to the WinLine driver to run old pen plotters that do not have a Windows driver? I tried to configure my com ports but had no luck. Plotter works with AutoCAD but not IntelliCAD.

the hpgl driver from roland seems to work well for many other pen plotters.
you might try that. http://www.rolanddg.co.jp/en/down3oad.html

Thanks,

Hate to sound silly but I did not see a driver that said hpgl. Did I miss something? I'm willing to try anything at this point.

I think I've got a driver that will work with my Calcomp. I tried almost all of the Roland drivers til I found one that seems to work. Roland's pen plotter download is a program that will set up a driver for any of their pen plotters. BTW I'm running win xp and downloaded Icad. Good luck, John
