I have a quick question that yall might be able to help me with here. I am doing work with people that use autocad. Well they want some 3d models of some parts that I am designing. If I draw them in wire frame can they open them up as a 3d model in Autocad ? If there is a way please let me know.

Except for the 'pseudo' surfaces generated by giving
planar figures a 'thickness' value, Icad is presently
restricted to 3D-Faces and Poly-Face Meshes for
surface modeling. Both of these types of 'surface' entities
are entirely compatible with Acad and should cause
no problems in that direction. It is when you have
Acad-generated ACIS Solids and Regions that you will
notice things missing in the Icad view of the DWGs.
I think the next release of the PE version is going
to support ACIS editing and viewing.

So, as long as the people you're dealing with do not return
the work after adding ACIS entities, you should be OK.
