Mechanical Drawings.

I have a question for people that make machining drawings. I want to make those types of drawing when I start drafting. Does everybody use Geometric Tolerenacing ? Can anybody give any hints on what I should concerntrate on ? Any tips would be great.

the best thing (imo) you can do is to get a copy of Machiery's Handbook.
most drafting texts cover machine drawings,
but you will out grow what they cover very quickly.

A machinery handbook is a must if you get into the Machinery's Handbook if you plan on doing that kind of work. I have to use it often. The amount of information in that book is unreal. Also you might want to learn how to use a pair of calipers. They come in handy. I think.
