Hello:

Well, I've used 3d modelling and rendering or architectural models for a while.

I like very much to work 3d. In architecture, 3D modelling has produced a revolution, because it opens a whole workd of studying oportunities of a project in a reasonable time, and excellent features like sun and shadow studies, lightning design, color and material studies, walktrhoughs, etc.

I've been 100% 3D since '93.
Autocad,
CadKey,
Intellicad,
Catia,

the only 2D i've done since then was while i was doing some pen/mylar for a company in Wichita Ks.

what ever will pay the bills. :-)

i started off in(A&P) and am once again in(Catia) aerospace. in between i've worked for plastics molders, agricultural/industrial equipment manufacturers, instrument and controls, and structural steel/aggregate products...

I'm still learning, but i've been spoiled on 3D long enough that working 2D is painful.

last week i did a skills test for a job i was applying for. they wanted me to do some 2D projections. ok, i can do that, but it was a waste of software(MDT).
