Views Confusion/Hidden->Solid lines

Hello all, I am making my first drawing on any CAD program. I'm doing OK with the "top" drawing, but now I want to do the front and side views. I have been giving each line a depth number so I do have more than a "0" thickness line for the other views, but the problem I am having is with hidden lines. How do I show hidden lines in one view and then change them to be solid lines as needed in the other views? I'm using evaluation version IntelliCAD 2001 by CADopia. I'm retired and on a tight budget. Is there a newer eval copy out there? Thanks, Jim
