This article is stupid. It is simply a question of Chaos group selling their application V-Ray.
Artisan is simply a a toy to render shapes in materials.

V-ray like Cycles or Corona, Indigo, Keyshopt, Lumion and so.... are unbiased render
but Luxrender or Maxwell render are better real renderer because physically correct lighting and materials.
