My Cad skills are entry-level to intermediate. I will be supplementing my land status reports with maps in the near future and wonder which version or vendor has the best product for surveying and mapping drawings.

Also I have an off-topic question. I am considering buying a used large-format plotter. I see used HP DJ 650C's on ebay for less than $1000. I see refurbished units for about $1200. I am considering a 650C because I have used them in the past.

Any suggestions on a source for a used or refurnished unit would be appreciated.
Are there other plotters available in that price range that I should consider. I think I could get by with a 24".
