I have drawings in which all layers are set to white. So the colors of the objects are set individual. The drawings can be plotted from Autocad, but in Intellicad 4 it doesn't work. The drawings are displayed correctly, but when I use the plot preview, I only get a lot of colored areas. It only works if I change the color settings for the objects to 'BY LAYER' and then change the color of the whole layer.
The drawings I' got have hundred of layers, so I can't do that work manually. Is there a possibility to use a routine or is there another way to get the drawings to work in Intellicad?

I noticed some serious issues with ICAD 4 and found if I switched the background (grachics screen color) to black, many of the problems seem to go way.

But my CAD standards are all built around a white background and dark line colors because that setup causes less eye strain in normal well lit office environments.

I ended up going back to ICAD version 3.3

More than likely, your problem can be solved by mapping all colors to default except white. Set it to black. Or set all colors to black for printing.

Well, I've tried to change the background color, but without any result.
I reinstalled my old 3.3 version and the drawings display and print normally. In the old version the Line Width (Print settings - Color / Width Map) is set to 0.01 Inches. When I open the same drawing in the new version 4, the Line Width is set for all colors to 163.881 Inches. Therefore all drawings are displayed in the print preview as a paper filling colored pattern. They are also printed that way, so that I can't work with the new version.

As long as this problem isn't solved, I'll have to go on working with my old version 3.3. So actually I can't really recommend to use the new version.
