AutoCAD 2000 (saved as 14) to Intellicad

#1
I have a customer who is going to fabricate our parts who has Intellicad 2000. I sent drawing to them as AutoCAD 14 DXF, and AutoCAD 14 DWG. On two copies of the same drawing (different drawing extensions) different information did or did not show up, such as a lisp? or RText? routine that will insert the file name minus the last four digits (in our border (block with attributes)) as the part number. This does not show up in either drawing that they opened up in intellicad 2000.

We decided to try and save the original border on 0 layer, and insert it on 0 layer, and put all entities on 0 layer to include text, dimensions etc. Will this work? Or does someone know of a way to make this work.

Does Paper Space in AutoCAD 2000 have anything to do with problems in converting files? (The files that I sent was in Model Space)

Thanks for any help that anyone might be able to offer.

Could you email me the drawings in the following formats:

AutoCAD 2000
AutoCAD R14

I will open them in IntelliCAD and see if there are any settings that may overcome your problems.
