It is intended for Win32 only, but i've been running it on Linux with Wine. It works but a couple of the features are inoperable. shade/hide requires a recompile of Wine for OpenGL. Layer-Explorer will lock(use layer command). and printing is a pain to set up.

there is interest(and not just from me ;-).
i don't know if "soon" is the word i'd use.

older versions of Icad2000 run with wine, the first release of Icad2001 did not. I'm hoping that the next(october ?)release will be able to run on wine.

a Linux version will require a seperation of the engine(C/C++) from the GUI(platform dependent).

According to the Administrator on the ITC forum, they are looking at this option for a LONG TERM goal.
