We've performed several tests with v7.2 over windows 7 64bit machines. We cannot reproduce the issue.
Update to the latest v7.2 build is recommended.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I am using the latest Vs. 7.2 (build 4141).
There may be a relation to the frequent need to regenerate (shown at the r.h. bottom of the screen).
I remember that similar 'hanging-in-an-endless-loop' occurred in Vs. 6.1, too. I then began to set auto-save at 5 min (to reduce loss of work to a minimum).
Only yesterday, I made 'double click' of the mouse a bit slower. Sofar today, I did not have hanging of Icad yet. I keep on trying.

Again, and again

It is two weeks later now, and things are getting worse.
I've had numerous problems. The above one is only one of them. Most frequent though.
Others are: program just vanishing, no way chamfering or making fillets,
no way making hatches (no boundaries recognised). Somehow strange things do happen when working 2-D only. Flattening the drawing sometimes helps on all these promblems, but what generates the need for flattening?

I reported the mere part of the problems to IntelliCAD, and I've been promised that they are on it.
So am I, late night hours, and in the week-end, fighting the deadline.

It is not throwing mud, but please be informed that I am not pleased with this V2. 7.9 -build 4141. I still do hope that a solution will be found soon (I mean a patch for the flaws, not a new-and-better-than-ever-before-upgrade).

We've no issues with Windows 7 64bits with our current 7.2.4141 build, and the problem you're experiencing should have another source that looks like it's interfering with our software.

Please send an email to usingms@etoolbox.com with the exact steps to reproduce the issue, but probably the best way it to remotely access your machine in order to review it.
