I would like to turn off the quick rotate.

I work with 2D stuff and I will not use rotate. I use the quick pan and zoom frequently but sometimes the rotate is activated and coupled with the inability to undo it, it delays projects.

Unfortunately the developers for IntelliCAD did not give us the option to turn that off. But not to worry, you do not have to "undo" it. Just type "plan" at the command prompt and press enter for the "<Current UCS> " option. Your drawing will zoom entents with the plan view being restored. I know it isn't a perfect fix but it works, for now with very little loss of your time.

How long did the last copy of icad2k remain in beta prior to release?

How much longer should we expect the current rendition to remain in beta?

I don't know how long the last copy took in Beta. The beta stage in development is one of those gray areas in the development cycle because so many (unknown) bugs can be reported during this time and they need to be addressed. However it probably is taking longer because of some of the new features that are in this new release, and new code always introduces new bugs, and bug fixes introduce new bugs. Once I get more of a definite I will let you know. It looks like all of the ITC members are at the same stage of development and I bet you will see several of them release their next build within the same week.

I encourage you to be patient as we all don't want a premature release of buggy and unstable software, that wont be updated for another four to six months.
