Desktop shortcut options ?

#1
I want intellicad to start in a particular folder. so when I "Open" a file I will default to my current job folder.
In Autocad I could simply make a desktop shortcut to a job folder and tell the shortcut to "start in" the job folder name. If I opened or saved a drawing the dialog box was already at the current job folder.
This does NOT seem to work with intellicad. Is there a way to automate this process in intellicad??

thanks

I realize I can change the path from the Tools-Options-Files Tab, but I would like to change it automatically from my desktop shortcut. Does intellicad pass any parameters from the environment into intellicad? Can I make the desktop shortcut "startin folder" become the Tools-Options-Files tab??

Save a blank drawing in the folder you wish to be the default. Make a shortcut on your desktop pointing to that drawing, and when you open it, Intellicad will default to that folder for any future saving or opening of drawings, until you either close the program, or open a drawing in another folder.

Thanks Les, you put me onto something.
I think I found something easier, but similar. Under OPTIONS, change the PATH/FILE
to read "." (just a PERIOD no quotes). I believe this will keep the directory to what is called in the startin folder in a desktop shortcut. It seems to be working so far. No need to create a dummy dwg for the shortcut. As I remember from DOS the period is the "current directory". So it seems to use the shortcut startin folder instead because it has no other default to use.
My reasoning may be not quite right, but so far it works.

THANKS for the help !!
