How can I add items to the "Shift-Right-Click" menu?
I've looked at TOOLS>CUSTOMIZE>MENUS but can't see it.
In Autocad, when I "Shift-Right Click" I get the snaps but also I added up, down, left and right items.
For example if I'm moving something to the left then I can shift-right click, select "left" then type in the distance.

I believe it's the entity snap pulldown menu - whatever you add there will show up in the shift-rt click.
Same with Modify menu - changes appear in the right click menu. I find that one more useful.

It seems that there are two shift right click menus.
The first is the one you mention and allows setting the snap fulltime. The second only appears during a command and allows a onetime snap. It is the second menu that I'm looking for. Any ideas?

It's the same snap menu. Typing "endp" on its own sets it permanently, typing it in the middle of a command sets it for one off - same goes for picking it from the snap menu. Picking it from the snap toolbar sets it permanently, alone or mid-command.
Changes to the pull-down snap menu should show up with when you shift-rt click, but rather than adding 4 lines for distance entry which require another menu pick and still won't cover odd angles, can't you go: Move/pick/pick start point/(move mouse in the required direction)/type distance? (direct distance entry).

Thanks John. I didn't know about that. Solves my problem and then a bit.

Yeah, "DDE" was a great addition (simple though it seems) to Acad and Icad. I think Icad had it first but Generic had it before either. Works for a lot of commands and for drawing lines - pick start point, run the mouse in the right direction then type the distance. It has suffered buggy behaviour in some previous versions.
