Tools, options, general. You can set it there. EDIT: This is for vesion 6. I really don't remember in 5 but I don't think it was setable.

Thanks for the replies. It seems that I can't make that suggested changes in the version I'm using as in tools, options, general, I can only change the experience and autosave preferences. Is there any other way?

There is always another way.

Save the drawing as normal because you need to supply a name for it.

You can place the lisp below in a tool command.

^C^C^C(Command "Filedia" "Off")(Command "SaveAs" "A2K" "" "Y")(Command "Filedia" "On")


This will:

1/ Set the Filedia to "off" - suppressing the dialog box in commands.

2/ Run a saveas command to "A2K" (AutoCAD 2000 drawing) accepting the current saved name.

3/ Set the Filedia to "on" so the dialog boxes will display as normal.

If you need help to place the lisp code in a command tool - lookup customize in IntelliCAD Help.

Remember you must save the drawing first.
