Can someone please advise me on what I may be doing wrong?

When I set auto save on my drawing is not saved but if I do it manually it is.

Any one got any ideas?

I do get a message during drawing that informs me auto saving is taking place but if I close the program without saving, then open the auto saved drawing there is nothing.

Autosave does not save the drawing to the dwg, it creates an *.sv$ file which when renamed to *.dwg can be read by Intellicad. This is the same in Autocad. This is a quote from the help file
"When AutoSave is enabled, the program creates a copy of your drawing. The file is saved to the same directory as the drawing file, with the file extension specified in the AutoSave Drawing Extension field (by default, SV$).
