I am not very sure if this is the right forum to discuss problems relating to Bricscad. I have happened to come across this forum while searching for some solution to my problem.It would be really great if someone can direct me on it.

We have been trying different intellicad packages in our office. latest in the sequence is bricscad. The problem we are encountering with bricscad is that when we have saved a file in CMS Intellicad V6 afterworking on it and open it in BricsCad we are not able to save it. It Shows an error " Error Writing File....Attempt to add duplicate handle 4E4F(DIMASSOC) ".....It would be really great if some one can help me with this

Have you tried Recover on it? Another person was having trouble crashing inserting a block and it turned out the block had errors, not the program's fault at all. If it turns out to be something like that you should let people know, as reports like that shake peoples' confidence.

Dimassoc is the associative dimension variable. I have experienced a bit of strangness with this too although not to that extent. A couple of times, when opening files saved by another application, I have had dimensions come in with no associativity. It's as if they had been exploded. Closing the file and reopening reverted everything to normal. Seems like something odd is going on here. CMS V6.
