I've been having a problem for a while now with drawings displaying deleted hatching when opened in Autocad.

I am working on a project which has a number of drawings which are similar. When I finish each drawing I then 'saveas' the next delete what I don't need and then work from there.

However when my client opens these drawings in Autocad some of the hatching re-appears. It's not displayed in my drawing, but IS in Autocad. There has been upto 6 different (deleted) hatching blocks appear, nested from saveas to saveas etc....

My client is getting a bit uneasy with this, contract renewal approches & it would be good to put this to bed.

Any offers??

Haven't had that one but I have had xrefs not appearing in my dwgs in Acad. I saveas R14, then open and save in Icad-98 which I keep installed. This also rectified an Mtext alignment problem which was happening occasionally with an earlier release of Icad.
