To all,
I was considering buying ProgeCAD Professional to add to my CAD armoury for my Architectural works. However, on further research, I see that its built on the same software engine so to speak as IntelliCAD.
Therefore, not too sure which product would be the direction to take as both seem to cater for the Architectural CAD market. In summary this seems to be the breakdown differences that I could find:-
--------------------------------------
CMS IntelliCAD PE Plus
Intuitive drawing tools, advanced 3D modeling, and strong collaboration features with good support.
ProgeCAD Professional
Advanced block capabilities (like dynamic blocks), integration with architectural design workflows (AEC objects), direct Revit import, IFC export, and AI translation feature.----------------------------------------
Therefore, it suggests ProgeCAD Professional may be more architecturally suited. I'd appreciate if anyone could expand upon this further.
