When I move my cursor over a line, poly, hatch; or whatever it automatically highlights. How do I turn this off.
I only want it to highlight when I actually select it..
My old version of Icad didn't do this.
It can be a problem when I have a dense hatch or dense contours because it blocks the view of underlying inserted images.
thank you

#2Hi,
To turn off the preview of the entity when no command is active, please run the OPTIONS command, and go to the tab SELECTION: deselect "When no command is active" as image below.

#3Thank You
My Icad version is 11.1 PE so the OPTIONS window and Selections Tab that came up didn't have the option to select the "when no command is active box".
However, based on what I saw in the example you pasted, I searched a bit in the help index and found the SELECTIONPREVIEW command. It was set on 3, so I set it to 0 and it fixed my problem. I'm not sure what 1 or 2 do, but I think the selection is back to what I was used to with my version 9.
Thanks again for your help
