This is a common issue when working with 3D models in CAD software, such as AutoCAD. The error message "There are viewports that require 3d rendering. The specified Print Styles will be ignored for them" typically occurs when the visual style of a viewport is set to a 3D rendering mode, which conflicts with certain print styles, such as monochrome printing.
I never get this error when printing from any other CAD program, only here in CMS Intellicad! It was unknown to me and as a result made me look very bad on a recent on-site job I had. Especially when I was the one who recommended CMS to the client. As a result of this failure of CMS to deal with the issue in a timely manner, my contract was terminated abruptly. This cost me several thousand dollars left in the contract over the following 3 weeks! I was and am still not happy with the outcome!
This should not have been an issue...
This error message often appears when attempting to print a layout in AutoCAD or a similar CAD software that includes viewports requiring 3D rendering.
Thanks for the tip! Setting the viewport to 2D Wireframe definitely helps resolve that error when printing in monochrome. It's always frustrating to encounter issues like this, so I appreciate your advice. I'll make sure to check the visual style next time I run into this problem! geoguessr free
