I heard that another IntelliCAD vendor is going to release a version of IntelliCAD that will work on Gnu/Linux.

I have been evaluating Gnu/Linux recently and have made the decision to switch almost everything to Gnu/Linux. CAD is (was?) the only application left that absolutly required a Window workstation.

Yes, I am aware of the same news but understand that as an initial release the program will be slightly tweaked to run better under WINE (the windows emulation layer). I have been in the same boat for several years now, where everything I need is available for Linux except the Acad clone.
If things are adminstrated as before, CMS should soon have access to the Linux 'code' via the Consortium unless this 'code' is considered a vendor specific customization.

I know absolutely nothing about Linux, but some of you may be interested to know that there is a Linux version of ProgeSOFT IntelliCAD 4 released as beta version.
