To transfer or release a CMS IntelliCAD license (version 8.2 or later), deactivate it using the License Manager (Help menu) on the currently licensed system.

Before transferring a software license to a new system, users must first deactivate the license on the currently licensed system. Users also need to hold a backup copy of the licensed version installer file.

1) at the latest licensed system, run CMS IntelliCAD
2) go to HELP menu > License Manager
3) check that you see "old site" label at the registration window
4) insert the activation key > push DEACTIVATE button

Older versions than 8.2 are not compatible with the latest Windows developments and will require a license upgrade if a license transfer (to new or formatted system) is required.
