Low VIEWRES when opening Autocad files

Post by jlj » Sun Jul 15, 2007 10:37 pm

I'm using CMS Intellicad V6.3 SE to edit files produced with Autocad.

When I open the files the VIEWRES value is always 16. I have to execute the VIEWRES command to change to a usable value (eg 2000) whenever I open one of these files.

Is this a bug or intended behaviour? Is there a way to always use a fixed value for VIEWRES?

jlj,

I created a drawing in ACAD with a Vieres of 16 and opened it in ICAD and checked the viewres and it was the same as i ser in ACAD.

It appears that the Viewres in being maintained between drawing sessions as per intended.

An option is to change this in ICAD when the drawing is opened.

In ICAD.lsp

(Command "Viewres" 2000)

If you need help with this I can help you - Just I am going away for two weeks nad can help when I return.
