Visual Basic 6 linking to intellicad

Post by ENSIGN » Fri Aug 03, 2007 8:28 am

is it possible to write a program in visual basic 6 that can address the intellicad objects if intellicad is currently running.

This is possible in autocad by adding ACAD.TLB into the visual basics list of references.

ENSIGN,

In Visual Basic 6 start a new project ".exe".

From the pull-down menu select Project-->References.

Scrol down the list and select Intellicad 6.3 Object Library or whatever version number of IntelliCAD you have.

This will expose all the IntelliCAD objects to Visual Basic.
