Hello.
I changed the value of VIEWRES, but It initializes when turned off and on program or open a new drawing.
Please let me know if there is a way to save the modified values permanently.
Thank you.
Re: I'd like to know how to permanently save modified parameters value.
#2Hi Choi,
Having looked this morning at my system and tested in a couple of drawings I feel that:
VIEWRES is not a system variable but a DRAWING variable.
This means that the value you have set is saved with the drawing only.
YES, I agree that this seems strange!!??

#3Yes, right.
If this value is not fixed, the circle looks angular when the drawing is loaded.
I can use the REGEN command, but I don't think there will be any inconvenience if I apply VIEWRES, is there any way?

#4Hi Choi,
Try to use the system variable "ZoomPercent" instead of.

#5Hi Choi,
if you have the value for viewres set too high it will have an impact on performance. If your drawings are simple then you will most likely not notice, however as the drawings become more complicated there will be a trade-off.
Personally I have left this at default.
If you want to change this for ALL new drawings, change the value in the template file[s].

#6Thank you for reply.
First of all, the 'ZoomPercent' command doesn't seem to help.
I changed the value to a few large numbers such as 1,100, 20000 and so on, but there is no change.
Next, I looked up about changing the template file Steven told me, but I don't know what to do.
I think the file in the folder 'C:\Users\user\AppData\Roming\cms\cms intellicad 10.0 premium edition plus x64\templates' should be modified or modified in the program, can you tell me how?
Thanks for your help.

#7Morning Choi,
open Intellicad as normal, then:
Select file->open to open an existing drawing.
Navigate to the folder in your post above.
In the File Types to open drop-down (below file name) select 'DWT' (template files)
select Icad.dwt
once open you can make any change that you want in any future NEW drawing ie VIEWRES
this is also the place to setup your default or project standards like text font and heights|dimensions!layer names & colours etc etc
